What's Not To Love?

Cyndrill is twenty and a battling medical student who still finds time to share her undeniable love for food, places, and funky finds through this blog. She’s got her camera on her hands to capture life’s little surprises and her creative juice flowing to make short yet interesting entries to keep this account alive. Having so many desires in her life with so little time, she has to make do with what she has right now and wait until the right moment comes for her to make them all happen.

(And maybe that’s 10 years from now? After all has been settled and done for the love of Medicine. I hope.)

Who I Follow

Growl Out Loud and Proud. I love taking pictures ever since. And whenever I am able to get good shots, I feel so proud and it makes me believe that sometimes digital camera shots can also stand out just the same as DSLR shots. While browsing through the net, I came across the Picturesque Views of UST album of the University of Santo Tomas Fan Page. It featured selected shots of the university which were so striking and these shots made me realize how beautiful my alma mater is. To my surprise, I found my photo uploaded in this album! The photo was taken during my freshman year in the university. I took it with my Canon Powershot A400 back in 2007 and decided to make a few edits just last June 2011. This actually was one of my few pictures of the university back then. What made this extra special was that the Lover’s Lane was still filled with trees and most students at present were not able to get a glimpse this old view of the park. When I decided to upload this in the Viva Santo Tomas Tumblr Page, many were actually surprised to see how the Lover’s Lane has changed a lot. Still, I love that change because we were able to enjoy it more with the open environment.

I must say, I am really proud to see this uploaded in that album. I love taking photos. I may not always get good shots all the time, but still some shots can be something to be proud of (just like this one!). What made me even more proud was the fact that the photo was only taken with just a digital camera. It just feels great! :) Please bear with me, I just can’t contain my happiness. Something like this can just be one of my simple joys. :)

Feel free to check out my very short post about this photo here.
