    “THE LOCAL distribution arm of food giant General Mills, Inc. has decided to leave the country and bring its brands Häagen-Dazs, Pillsbury and Betty Crocker with it due to the “challenging” business environment here.”

    Well, honestly, I’m not really a Haagen-Dazs fan. I’ve tried it once and liked it but never thought of having another cup. (Ang mahal naman din kasi, diba?) haha! But still, this news saddened me. Trying their Ice Cream Fondue was one thing I wanted to do with my friends someday. Well, I guess it’s too late because the MoA branch is already closed. What saddened me more is that other products like Nature Valley and Betty Crocker food brands are also bidding the Philippines goodbye. I guess I have to start hoarding Nature Valley Granola Bars or else I have to wait for someone outside the country send it to me as a pasalubong. *Tear*
